BYO generally refers to alcohol which makes sense because the piece goes on to say that you don't have to "take out a loan every time you want a beer".
In the UK at least, a bottle of wine in a restaurant will set you back approximately £15. At BYO restaurants, you can pop to the local supermarket or off licence and buy a bottle for under £5, take it to the restaurant with you and enjoy it with your meal, saving £10!
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
