Default “Got married” vs “ was married”

Please these two sentences made me confused “got married, was married”. I know both are past but I can’t differentiate between them in which sentence the divorce takes place.

    I got married since 2008.
    I was married.

    I was married.
The first one is incorrect. The second is possible in the right context. There is no mention of divorce.

    I was married.
As bhaisahab said, there is no mention of divorce so we can't help you there.

    I got married in 2008.
I have been married since 2008.
I was married in 2008. (This can have two meanings.)

I got married since 2008. If you are still married, "I have been married since 2008". OR if referring to a previous marriage, "I got married in 2008".

    I was married previously.
