Gets or Got???

Hey guys,

Please, correct me if I am wrong.

For example: someone write an article for me and the content gets rejected by me. Now, can I write following ways.

1) The article gets rejected

2) Your article got rejected

You would be better off using "The article was rejected". However, if you feel you must use "to get" in some way then the normal way would be "The article got rejected" because it happened in the past.

If you feel it's not likely to be accepted when you submit it, you would say "I have a feeling it will get rejected".
