meet moment
The TV presenter said: "He meets his moment."
Or I read on a website: "Lance Armstrong meets moment quietly."
Could you please clarify the meaning of this phrase "meet moment"?

Re: meet moment
I don't think the TV presenter knew either. He may have meant 'the time of his disgrace was bound to come, and it finally did'. Perhaps in Am English 'meeting one's moment' is idiomatic, but I suspect not.
