Reply With Quote'Way too much' is fine in informal modern English. If this is part of your fantasy novel, then 'far too much' is more appropriate.

I think I’ve had way too much of that mead Hi, everyone!
A part of this sentence sounds somewhat unnatural to me: "I think I’ve had way too much of that mead". Maybe I'm mistaken? By this sentence I mean that the guy has drunk too much.
