    Default travel?journy?

Could you possibly tell me what the difference is between these?

1:our travel from paris to moscow by train was good.

2.our journey from paris to moscow by train was good.

(of course I know our travel is wrong but I dont know why???

(could you please elaborate your explanations and give me some simple examples and answers. Thanks in advance.I am
    learning English now.).

'Travel', uncountable, means 'travelling in general'.
'Journey', countable' is one specific act of travelling.
We have similar differences between work and job, poetry and poem, accommodation and apartment/flat/house/etc, news and piece of news/news item
Odessa Dawn and anhnha like this.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.

Capitalise proper nouns and the first word of every sentence.
