the use of "such as" "and so on", "and the like"
When citing similar examples, we usually use "such as" "and so on" "and the like"
My question is: can these expressions be used when we refer to people?
For example, can I say: Little boys such as my son...
Many people have written poems about this place--John Smith, Tom Bach and so on..
Are they correct?
