    Default I'm 4,5 years old

If I'm 4,5 years old, is it correct to say:
    I'm four and a half.

    Should I say:
1.I'm four and a half years old
    or
2.I'm four and a half year old

ps. Congratulations on your ability to type correct English. Pretty impressive for a four-and-a-half-year-old.

Don't forget to end every sentence with a single appropriate punctuation mark.

A person of that age would probably say 'I'm nearly 5'; my daughter would have said 'I'll be 6 next year'.

I think the younger we are, the prouder we are of those little fractions.

    I'm three and three-eighths.
    I'm two and a quarter.
    I'm five and three-quarters.

The older we get, the less we take any notice.

I used to say I was thirty-something, hexadecimal (base 16). Come to think of it, I still am - just 3D.
