PS I thought I was wrong about this collocation - although rare, it comes about 400th in a field of about 4000 in BNC (in a search for 'famous' +). But here's the context for its two hits:
In both cases 'food' is behaving adjectivally; what is famous is shops in 1 and writers in 2.Quote:
