    Default I have a good contact with children

    I would like to say that I get along with children. Is it possible to say:

    I have a good contact with children.
    or
    I have a good connection with children.

    Or is "get along with" the only possibility?

    Of yours, the one with "connection" is okay. "Contact" sounds a bit off.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
