What does this "spirit" mean? "Atmosphere" is the closest one I can think of.
ip36)Songkran, the traditional Thai New Year, is celebrated from April 13 to 15 each year...People throw water on anyone who walks down the street or past their home. They use buckets of water, water pistols, water hoses, and water-filled balloons. Everyone gets wet, but it is all in a spirit of friendliness...
