blood dripping down his wrists
Hello. Could you help me?
What does this bold extract mean >> "a dark room, the sharp odor of sweat and rage, and the feel of his own blood dripping down his wrists." ?Do they say that he was scared? afraid of smth? Or should I understand this phrase directly?
Thank you.

Re: blood dripping down his wrists
Absent any other context, I would understand it literally. That he was bleeding.

Blood comes from anywhere.

So, blood comes from anywhere, but he feels it on his wrists? Blood is dropping down ON his wrists?

If he had his hand in the air and there was a cut in it, the blood would drip down his wrist.
If his arm were by his side, and he had a cut in his arm, the blood would drip down his wrist.
