Will it be a grammar mistake to use the verb "to forget" in the Past Simple (in British English) in the context (in the itle)?
If I were a native speaker of English, I would never shut up.)
Why is I forgot wrong in BrE?
Could you tell us why it is wrong in this context and more about the right context?
Thanks in advance!
bagzi, this about the normal difference between the past simple and present perfect.
