I'd use 'about'.

Hi
I want to know which preposition to use with the word reservation; as having some sort of objection.
For example: Students were found to have some degree of reservation (over, on, about) studying algebra.
Which one is correct?
Thank you

Whilst "a degree of separation" is possible, we would normally use "reservations".
Students had some reservations about studying algebra.
