I would like to know what is the proper way to say "wiser" or "more wise" which term is correct in a sentence. For instance; "Jessica is more wise than Cody." or "Cody is wiser than Jessica."

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both are correct....but "wiser" would be the better choice.

Hello,
I think the correct way to say it is: wiser because wise is a short adjective and not a long one, so we can not say more wise.

In common speech, "more wise" is often said. A Google of "more wise" gives 216,000 hits.

But as I said in my previous post "wiser" is the better choice.
