| Why is numer one incorrect? Why is it supposed to be 'translated'? 1. I need this translate as fastest as you can. 2. I need this translated as fastest as you can. Is this why it is 'translated'? 3. I need this to be translated as fastest as you can. Same idea with this? 4. We partnered with him. 5. We partner with him. (Incorrect? | 1. I need this translate as fastest as you can. :( 2. I need this translated as fastest as you can. :( 3. I need this to be translated as fastest as you can. :( Passive I need this (to be) translated as fast as you can. :D Active I need you to translate this as fast as you can. :D Note, to be is often omitted in the passive, so 3. is correct but it's also incorrect because the fastest is a superlative. Superlatives express, #1., the best, the tops. 4. We partnered with him. :D 5. We partner with him. :D Note, We are partnered with him. (Verb) We partnered with him. (Verb) We will partner with him. (Verb) We partner with him (when we can). (Verb) All the best, :D |
