Question Interest in something OR Interest for something .... question?

Talking about a vacancy with a recruiter, what is correct to say:

I can confirm my interest in this position

OR

I can confirm my interest for this position

AND in the case the wrong one is completely wrong or is it acceptable too?

????

It is "...my interest in this position"

What are the circumstances leading up to this statement, that you say, "I can confirm..."

How much of an interest had you expressed before this?
Are you just hearing about a particular position, and expressing interest?

??

Hello David, thank for your answer.

A recruiter wrote me this short e-mail:

Hi SunMoon,

Please see attached job spec and let me know your thoughts.

King regards
