| Most of the people who voted in this poll agree with you. However, most of them are ESL learners. I left my homework at home - When I left home to go to school my homework was at home; I didn't take it with me. I forgot my homework - I didn't remember to take it with me. |

| There we may have both usages, but dont U think 'Forgot' may give the idea that it hasn't been done?! So, 'Left' sounds to be a better choice... |
