Default delphi under usingenglish ?

I wonder if the delphi forum is under usingenglish ? That forum is not as friendly-user as this from my observation.

Default Delphi forum

The other forum is a Delphi forum. Delphi provides the platform (software) for running that forum. This forum is Red's baby.

This one is more dedicated to ESL than that one is. Since that is what I am interested in, here is where you will find me. I was doing this sort of thing on the Dictionary.com forum for over a year before I started with UE. I have, hopefully, gotten better at it over time.

Frankly, I don't much like the arguments over at the other place. There are two many posters who lecture and don't listen. I, for one, do not like to be lectured to. It is one thing to offer your opinion about something. It is quite another thing to lecture people. (I think most of us can tell the difference.) Thankfully, that kind of thing hasn't gotten started here. Perhaps that's because of the nature of the forum.

I hope nobody thinks I overdo it with my postings here. (It was never my plan to dominate this forum. When I started here Tdol had about 500 more postings than me.) Hopefully, this forum will continue to be user-friendly.

There have been a lot of new posters lately. It's good to see some new blood. In any case, they sure have been keeping me busy.

:D

I don't think participants would think along this line. In fact, they appreciate what the forums offer that is someone willing to solve their problems :)

Forums with no one giving guidance is doomed to fail in its quest for fame.

I, too, spend more time here than there nowadays as it has more to do with questions relating to language, which interest me more.

If they do think that, then they're wrong. )
