Questions from a newbie ;-)

I noticed that there weren't any posts in this forum (subforum?), so I figured it was needing some. :)

It had been a while since I considered myself a newbie, but I feel like one here. Perhaps somebody has some tips on navigating this forum. The format is unlike any I have participated in before.

It's hard to say. I just kind of clicked around until I got the feel of it.

As you can see, I have quoted your posting. You can click on "quote" in order to do that. Also, if you scroll down while you're replying, you can see the entire thread. Even if I didn't quote what you said in this post, I'd have still been able to see what you wrote by scrolling down.

Though it is "new", I'd have to say it is not much different than the Delphi forum. I think the most noticeable difference is that you cannot reply directly to one posting unless you click on "quote". And then you could end up quoting many other postings in the process. Just click around. That's what I did.

Though you have probably already done it, I'd also suggest just looking at some of the threads. That should give you an idea of how it all works.

That seems like good advice to me. I'll browse around some more, and I will, hopefully, gradually get the hang of things.

Thanks for coming by, and thanks for the link. I do have a question. How do I change my password. (I looked for "password", and that information did not show up in the FAQ.)

On the very top of the screen, click on Profile. That’s where you can change your password, as well as your other personal information.

I have noticed that some members do not have their ages displayed on their profiles. Mine was like that originally, but ever since I changed my profile the first time I have been unable to fix it so it displays no age. Does anyone want to help?
