Default Avatars

This has probably been discussed before, but will avatars eventually be enabled?

It's really not important but I think it's cool to see avatars and try to understand why someone chose this avatar over another one.

If you can't see the avatars, go into your Control Panel, scroll down to Thread Display Options and turn the Show Avatars option on. I can see yours.

Thanks Tdol,

I've checked the User Control Panel but I couldn't find thread display option.

Where is it exactly?

Thanks.

Eeeeew, that's a mental image I didn't need. I thought it was a monkey deep in thought (like Rodin's "The Thinker").

Of course, these instructions aren't compulsory. If you use a slow link, displaying avatars will probably slow things down significantly. (In fact, if I used a dial-up line, I'd certainly switch them off.)

When I did a course in the early '80s about ISDN, the trainer spelled it out as 'Innovations Subscribers Don't Need'. Displaying avatars might come into the same category.
