Default Thrown Off, Cast Out, Abused and alone.

There seems to be a bug with the forum. A couple of times now I have written a reasonable lengthy reply to a comment, used the spell checker, then pressed submit, to find that my session is invalid. Attempting to 'Back' and recover the text so I can resubmit is messed up, because the system asks for re-entry of my username and password.

I don't know if anything can be done about this problem, but it sure is irritating!

Iain

I'll pass that on to Red5, who does the forum jiggery-pokery. Sorry about it.

Sorry Iain,

It is a pain in the proverbial isn't it!

I've written a brief description of what I believe to be the solution here: http://www.usingenglish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3445

Regards,

Thanks for the quick response. I'll give it a try. :) However, I'm currently travelling around Mexico, so I don't have a fixed station to work from. For now at least. :?
