No; we just have this site. Why did you ask?

Because I have seen a website, which has the same design or at least the same look as the old version of the Using English. It looked like the "lost twin" of our website. Just wondering if you were the one who done it, or not. There maybe no logic in my question.. but I just wanted to ask and to be sure.

Can you remember the url? If you can, please post it as someone may be trying to copy us without permission. <growl>

Because stealing years of hard work is cheating and unacceptable. However, there are parts of the site, like the forum, which can be linked to.

I am not sure if what I saw is a stealing or it is just the semilar design. I am sorry if it is nothing at all and I gave you a headache becuase of my miss understanding. The problem is that I don't get into forums that much so I don't know if it is a common thing to have a similarity in the designs or not.

I will say proudly that the only forum I knew all my life is Using English. I knew about the other one by one of the pop-ups.

Latoof, I do understand your concerns, but it is very important that we find out whether someone is breaching copyright, or whether they simply look similar to us. They may just be using the same forum software as us which would make them look quite like our site. If they are using content we have written then we need to stop them. Please, Latoof, if you can post the url it would be very helpful indeed.

I have just received your private message. Many, many thanks for letting me know the url.

We can all relax, as the site in question is using the phpBB that we used to use. This is quite common software and you will probably see a number of forums using it. The forum software we are now using is vBulletin which is getting to be quite popular now as well.

Latoof, thank you again for your help in solving this riddle.

Kind regards,

Red5
