Default a good quote

“ Vocation is where your deep gladness meets the world's deep need”-Frederick Buechner
What does that quote mean? I don't really understand, can anyone explain it?

If something causes you deep gladness (such as watching TV), but the world doesn't need it, that's not a vocation.
If the world has a deep need (such as reducing pollution), but you can't provide it, that's not a vocation either.
However, if something causes you deep gladness and your doing it meets the world's deep need for it, then you have a vocation.

(By the way, how do you know it's a good quote if you don't understand it?)
