Greeting. I need some help with the following sentence.

My duty lasts for 12 months; therefore I won’t be available to work until 12 November 2009.

I think able is much better (I won't be able to work) but i am not sure.

Whats the difference between
availability e.x time availability
and ability e.x physical ability ?

You are right. Unavailable means busy or tied up. Unable means suffering from a deficiency or medical problem.

Well but perhaps "i won't be able to work" means some king of deficiency as konugursvia said.
