Thanks for correcting me. I think there aren't a few.
I came back with another short paragraph (I'm not sure if it's too early, but anyhow, I'm not asking for an immediate check.) :
Looking into his eyes was giving me a rise of uncertainty. His persistent fixedly look was asking for something I can't fully understand even now, when I can analyse things more clearly. I would have smiled discomforted with anyone else in this kind of situation but his severe expression was not allowing this to happen so I felt the need to say something:
"You can't subtract my self-confidence like this, your eyes betrey you", I said with the most categorical tone that I could gather in that overpressured situation. But unfortunately it wasn't enough.
