Canada's contributions to Koreon War Essay

Hello I'm a grade 10 eastview secondary student planning on writing a 1000 word essay for history, I've been spending some time thinking about how I should format this and what my logic should be, I'm still unsure could some of the teachers and peers out there please give me some suggestions or simply make mine better?

Introduction paragraph I'm gonna talk about how the Korean war was started, why, and how Canada got involved.....

First Paragraph I was thinking of going into details about who and what decided that Canada should go to war and which side they are assisting.

Second Paragraph I will go into details about the major battles that Canadian soldiers were involved in.

Third Paragraph I will talk about the total casulties, Canadian casualties, how if in any way Canadians were affected by this war.

Ending Paragraph I will highlight Canada's contributions once again and briefly talk about the state of Korea in modern times.

Could someone please help me? I would like to get started as soon as possible :)
