Each city has its advantages and disadvantages. It depends on their economic and social environment, healthcare and educational programs/facilities, recreation and transport infrastructure. Some cities are situated in fabulous places, where a lot of healthy/rich food and bright sunshine are available but there are no (t) good schools and universities for education. Some other large cities have perfect conditions/atmosphere for career and business development, but they suffer from disadvantages like (because of) pollution, heavy traffic and high crime rates. So, I think, it isn’t (un) fair to compare large cities with small ones. They are just needed to be evaluated against (by) various criteria that could be understood by everybody so as to enable him to choose (what) the best city (to him) to live in.
