Help! Stupid Entrence Essay!

I have to write this essay in order to get into school next year. Normally I have no problem with essays at all but this topic is a doozy! Here it is

“In 500 to 750 words, describe the similarities and differences between the method by which images are formed on motion picture film and the way in which pictures are formed in a television set.”

It is for entrance into a Film school incase you were wondering.

I would GREATLY appreciate any help anyone could offer on deciphering this question.
