Saying hello is very short, however, it conveys an ocean of messages based out of your heart and mind and indicateds somehow your polite manner.
Greeting someone with a hello appears to many as an insignificant salutation. But, in fact, taking the time to say hello conveys and reiterates that you are polite and kind-mannered.
