Many species of animals and plants are in danger of becoming extinct.
What are the causes of this problem, and what can be done to prevent it from happening?

Response:

Nowadays, more species of animals and plants are in the verge of extinction. The rare animals we see today and those still unknown species of both will soon be gone.

There are many causes of the above mentioned problem. But the main causes are deforestation, wildlife hunting, and human activity created wildfires.

Deforestation is the removal of trees in a certain area for the purpose of using the land to create industrial buildings, residential houses, or for whatever reason. In wild life hunting, endangered species of either plants or animals are the target for hunters. Rare kinds of these are certainly sold at a high price in the markets. And wildfires brought about by human clumsiness or carelessness destroys a wide range of animal and plant habitats. When this kind of disaster happens, plants have nowhere to go and in just a matter of time burns into ashes. However, animals can flee, but a few only survives, because they need to adjust on the place where they fled up.

In order to prevent these causes from happening, there should be government intervention. Construction sites must be approved to be free from destruction of a considerable vast number of trees. Moreover, adding up forest rangers to guard our natural resources and impose restrictions on these areas, and to penalize hunting violators will somehow scare them away from doing such activities. This solution is also applicable for preventing wildfires from happening. In addition, public awareness on the effects of this situation must be considered.

In conclusion, deforestation, hunting, and wildfires can be prevented by the government through imposing penalties, restrictions, and adding up manpower to guard our natural resources. This way we can save animal and plant species from becoming extinct.
