Mainer, it might have happened with to you also. I and My husband and I planed planned to go to a temple with our two children. The temple was quite far away from my place; around 30 miles. It was a nice sunny weather of spring day after a long winter. We headed to the temple in the wee hours of the morning around 10am (The wee hours of morning are usually before 6 AM - 10 AM is mid-morning.). We all were very excited. After reaching the temple we came (or had come come) to know (came to know is understandable, but "heard", or, "were told", might be better choices.) that few (few, used this way means that not many were planned. If there were 20 possible events, only four were planned for the day, for example.) of the cultural activities had been(or were) lined up for that day. Therefore, we went to the ground floor where these activities had already started. We enjoyed a few of them to its the fullest but couldn’t stay for longer as the children were not enjoying them as much as we were. Then we came on went to the first floor to worship the god. After the worship, the prasad was distributed and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. We were half stuffed with this prasad. (Saying that a person is half stuffed is rather crude. Pigs get stuffed. How about, "our hunger was mostly satisfied by eating the prasad?")
