    Default being formal

Hello, | am writing to this subforum as I am searching for replies that must be as much formal as possible (e.g formal discussions in the parliament or in court).

I Would like to address someone formally, actually the person that will give the talk.
So I am thinking something like the following.

Ladies and Gentlemen let me introduce you to the first speaker of today's talk (talk or speech is more formal? or perhaps something better). Could you please rephrase it to sound more formal?

Moreover I need a phrase to use before describing the procedure that will be followed for the discussion.
I was thinking for something like "Even though everyone knows this procedure please allow my describing the procedure one more time" . It is not so good and it does not sound that formal to me.

Could you please help me with the above two subjects?

I would like to thank you in advance for your help and support
    BeST Regards
    Alex

Ladies and gentlemen. Please allow me to introduce our first speaker of the day (or, of the evening).

Moreover I need a phrase to use before describing the procedure that will be followed for the discussion.

There are certain procedures that we follow concerning the discussions we have after the speakers are finished. Please give me your attention as I go through these procedures, as there may have been changes that you are unaware of.

There are many ways to write these things. It is important that you:
    Do not use slang
Use words that most people will understand
Keep your remarks short and to the point
    Be polite
