I am trying to write an email
It is wonderful to be connected with many of you. I remember those wonderful days working in the cleaning department at the hotel. It was an amazing experience for me. When I was hungry I would visit the kitchen and I would always receive "something" from my wonderful colleagues working in the kitchen. The fond memories will always remain in my life.
thank you.
Using "connected" do you mean by email? If not, maybe "to have known you" would be better. Otherwise, it is an excellent email.
I would point out that the "many of you" in the first sentence is somewhat of a problem. This means that I like some of the people but not all of them. It is like saying that out of 100 people you like being connected to 95 of them - I guess that you don't like being connected to the other five. I suggest a simple change from "many" to "all".
