Lightbulb e-mail to decline an offer

    Dear teachers,
I must send an e-mail to politely decline an offer that I have already accepted. Please help me, any advice/correction is welcome.

    "Dear Ms ..,
I was offered a place to study at the MSc in xxx. Due to unexpected circumastances it is impossible for me to attend the course and I have to decline the offer to study at your university. If I wish to re-apply for postgraduate studies in the future, the University of xxx will be my first choice.
Thank you for considering my request."
