I am a native speaker and teacher of English to native speakers, and I can't read about a third of what my students write. The computer keyboard has eliminated penmanship classes from almost all American curricula.
Also, judging by some of the "text speak" garbage I get, the keyboard is far from being the salvation of written language.
Read them as often as you can, and then no one will believe you can not read them. 8-)
I can hardly read my own writing. :-(
What are you trying to say?Quote:
