Please would you proofread my text:

The man’s face turned into a broad smile and he stretched out his hand and the two prisoners shook their hands heartily and exchanged greetings. He told Peter that his name was Marcus and he was in for burglary. His speciality had been laptops and he was not interested in other goods. When questioned how many laptops he had stolen until now Marcus stopped talking and after thinking and counting in his mind said, “It must be more then 200."
“200! Is that possible?” Peter asked in an incredulous voice.
“It’s simpler than you believe,” Marcus said, “You come in, take it and come out without making too much noise.”
“Don’t you have a bad conscience?"
“Should I,” answered Marcus and smiled. “Do people have a bad conscience when buying products from the sweatshops?”

When questioned about how many laptops he had stolen until now, (There is nothing wrong with "until now" but it doesn't add anything to the story. It's like asking how many days have you been alive. You could say, "How many days have you been alive until now", or, "How many days have you been alive". The question is the same in either case.)
