Please, could you correct my mistakes
Then the witnesses entered the courtroom, one after the other, to make their own contribution to the fairness and effectiveness of the Swedish legal system. The photographer simply repeated what the Dean had already said and added that Peter was rude, overexcited and talked in a loud voice, just as immigrants did and he gave an impression of a dangerous man, one would usually avoid in the dark street.
All four guards who arrested him, told the same story about their intervention and about the furious man who made violent resistance, kicking and beating everyone who came close to him as if he was infected with rabies. He was so crazed that it passed some time until they could keep him under control. They all denied any use of excessive force and assured the judge that Peter was in such a state that any reasoning with him was impossible.
While listening to their lies and well-learnt statements, he was boiling inside and if there had been no guards behind him, Peter had felt such power, that he would be able to tear them to pieces. He closed his eyes imagining that he was swimming in a peaceful river with the overhanging willows on its banks and immediately he felt better, forgetting the show trial and its accomplished “actors.”
