The diagram shows step by step how to write a good essay. However, before starting it, we should have a look at the steps to review whether they are necessary to or suitable with the whole process.
First of all, generally, there are five phases to write an essay: Analysing, preparing, collecting, writing and checking. These phases are really needed and appropriate to have a good essay.
To begin with Analysing the task, it would be an essential phase in the writing process. Analysing means that you have to read carefully requirements of the task, understand it throughly before getting you into writing. If you do this step well, it will be a principal thing to drive you to the successful essay. After completing the step, Preparing a plan will be the next step. To do this, you should list the specific steps that you have to follow strictly during your whole writing process. In other words, that is the frame for outlining what thing you should do for every step in your essay. As the result, your paragraphs particularly and your composition generally will be in a good order that help viewers read and understand them easily.
Moving to the next phase, Collecting relevant information may be a most difficult part of an essay. One popular trouble that many people usually encounter when writing an essay is they couldn't find the necessary information for their essay. To do this well, you should read more and sometimes use your imagination to connect and arrange the information into your essay.
After the collecting step, Writing up maybe a part that would determine how many marks you can get for your composition. If you complete well the previous steps, they will be the premise for the writing step. One important thing is you have to base strictly on your previous phases. Finally, Checking your writing is also the very important part of your essay. You should check grammar, vocabularies carefully before submitting the composition to examiners.
