How can I write advance essays?

Hello guys I'm new to this forum and I hope , I maintain a good relationship with the community, ... Going back to the main topic.

I'm an ESL student now as a junior but I finished my freshman year. You might be asking yourself why are you back in ESl , well besides the fact my essay and sentence structures are horrible , I moved state and had to take another placement test which I did not pass.

For that reason I want to improve my sentence structure understanding Idioms and others, but mostly getting my essay to be almost perfect.

So I know this special topic might have sub topics because of all the sub topics working to make a main frame (essay), but please understand I really need help on this.

Well i would just like to get some better information about writting my essays other than just

1. Hook
2. Introduction (statement 1,2 ,3 )
3.statement 1.

So on and so fort , I would like to know how to improve.

As Gillnetter suggested, it easier to start with some text to look at and comment on.
