Currently i m working on an essay, the topic is as below:


What is the distinction between monetary and fiscal policy? Explain how fiscal policy is said to work.

Can anyone explain the latter part "Explain how fiscal policy is said to work"?

I am confused.

I'd take is as meaning the theory of fiscal policy- in practice things may be different, but they're not after that in this essay.
