Would this be a suitable thesis statement for Richard III?
We have to write about Richard III as being the "satanic hero". What something like this be a good thesis statement?
Shakespeare was able to portray Richard III as a likeable character, despite his satanic actions.
The problem is, none of my friends consider Richard III to be "likeable". My teacher won't say whether or not he likes Richard III. I think Richard III is a very likeable character, it's fun reading about him killing others (sorry, I'm a teenage guy
).
Do you think this is a suitable thesis?

It might be if you can show that Richard III is indeed likable*. If your only justification for this is that he kills people, and that you enjoy that, I don't somehow think you'll get away with it.
*The spelling I prefer. Your version is fine.
