Cover letter: this one is real !

I just finished writing my brand new cover letter. I imagine I am now way off, but some sentences certainly need to be reworked to make them sound like a native english speaker.

Any suggstions, corrections will be appreciated.

Dear Mr. XXXXXX,


Wind industry in general and your company XXX in particular held my attention.

Graduated as an electrical engineer, my professional activities always took place in maintenance.

Choosing the sector of wind energy is for me an exciting challenge, it will be learning new equipments, meeting new colleagues.
I will also find there many equipment and well known technologies, that will enable me to be quickly operational.


Technical competence, experience, dynamism, team spirit, flexibility are resources to be put at the service of the customer in Belgium or abroad, 24/7 as maintenance impose it.


The interest of the Walloon, Belgian and European market for your products will certainly lead to a development of your business in Belgium, it is within this project that I propose my candidature to you.



I am sure my services would be useful to you, and I would be pleased to meet you to review my qualifications in greater depth.

I'll start:

I'd start by stating the reason for the letter- I take it that you're not apllying for an advertised position, so I'd say that you're writing to show your interest in working for them. Next, 'equipment' is uncountable, so it doesn't have a plural or go with 'many'.
