Secondly, child obesity is not all about getting more physical activities. It's also important when the activity takes place.

Let's say McGuinty's child obesity prevention program is revised and it became an hour-long phys ed, as recommended by doctors. It will certainly help burn more fat. But according to MensHealth, our body needs good quality carb from food intake soon after rigourous physical activity, or it will start disintegrating its own muscle for carbonhydrates, because even when our body starts burning fat as fuel it still needs carb to help the process. Less muscle leads to fewer calorie burns / day and slower metabolism in general. And that means more fat, because any leftover calories would be stored as body fat. It would be ideal to set up the phys ed session right before lunch time so that kids can eat right after.

physical activities- activity (I'd say 'doing', but am not sure if they say 'getting' in the States)
It will - would- this is hypothetical
start disintegrating - using/breaking down
still needs carb - carbs?
