Could any ESL speakers assist me with an essay?

Hello all,

My name is Desmond Jones, I'm an American university student living in Milwaukee, WI. One of my areas of study is the international growth and social status of the English language, and I am currently writing an essay on the subject. I was wondering if two or three bilingual ESL/L2 English speakers would be interested in sharing their experience with English and answering a few questions of mine. Anyone from a country where English does not hold some kind of official standing can help me with this. As this is for academic purposes I do not need your name or any personal info other than an approximate age and location, and some of your time of course!
