Default Grammar Advice

Please excuse my poor grammar. For this essay, no conclusion is needed since my class is learning english. Any help would be appricated.

In the Flower Museum, the European and African artwork emphasizes the influential power of the European on their African colonies. In the Africa display, the European religion influences the way African people thought about disease and death. As a result of European conquest, the European extracted wealth and power from the enslavement of these African colonies. Hence, many of the European expensive utensils were handmade by African slaves for the Elite. However, the lack of other cultures influenced by the European was the major drawback of this museum.
In the picture “The Devil Inside”, the influence of European religion is seen through the ritual of African people. In this picture, there is a man wearing a large red mask and he is torturing a human being on top of head with swords. The masks are painted in red and black, which signified death and suffering. However, this devil seems to have two wings on each of his back, which signified a fallen angel. This mask shows that the diseases such as Polio are believed to be caused by the fallen angel: Satan. This biblical reference shows how the powerful European nations during the 17th and 18th century influences the way third world countries saw the world through life and death. Hence, the devil served as a recognizable world icon to represent pain and suffering.
Through their religion influences, the European also extracted precious metal from these African countries. In one display, each of the delicate spoons, folks and bowls have it own engraving and styles. Noticeably, these utensils had mistakes such as the lion doorknobs with asymmetrical face. In addition, many medallions had engraving of biblical text along with a scene from the bible. Therefore, these biblical utensils are only found in wealthy homes since they were often the employer of these workers. Hence, in the painting “Life” a wealthy family sat at a lavish dinner table using these same utensils.
