    Smile Colder

Hi again, this time I would like to ask you about the way I can use the word "colder".

For exemple, do I have to write it in a phrase always with "than"?

Can you give me a few of different ways to use it?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Matt

    No.

The day started warm, but it got colder in the afternoon.
My father came out as I lit the cigarette, and his face grew suddenly colder.
