I disagree that it's hard to build ideas. First you decide whether it's true or not. If you think people's tastes are changing (which is the easier opinion to argue for), then you simply need to think of why.
Can you think of any reason why people's taste in foods might be changing in this world of increasing international travel and cultural exchange?
