Articles/Tenses in PowerPoint Presentations
I am sometimes confused about article/tense usage in powerpoint presentations. Specifically:
- Omitting articles
- Omitting articles for the first word in a title/bullet point
- Are simple tenses preferred?
I would appreciate if anyone could suggest some websites/books that deal with the topic.
Thanks a lot!
Re: Articles/Tenses in PowerPoint Presentations
If you Google "Powerpoint style guidelines" you will get a lot of hits. Here is one random one I found:
PowerPoint Style Guidelines - American Marketing Association
Some institutions or companies will have their own in-house style guidelines.
I would say that omitting articles (unless they are vital to comprehension) is fine in order to save space.
