I am new to this forum and my job, which conference production. One of my tasks in my job is writing copy for conference brochures and sales copy. English, as you probably imagine is not my first language and I need to develop my writing skills. Can you recomend some helpful books or classes (in London) that might help me improve? Thanks, Karolina

I likeA Book on Writing by Sam McCarter (Intellegene). It has very advanced, interesting exercises and is suitable for self-study.

I am using "The Elements of Style" of Strunk and White; I heard it is a classic. What's your opinion on this book, tdol? Personally, I find it very useful, and reading is not only helpful, it is also pleasure. Best, Nyggus
